Your pension is payable for the rest of your life.

An exception to this is if you get a job in local government or with an employer who offers membership of the LGPS to it's employees, when your pension may be reduced or suspended – contact your pension fund administrator who is paying the pension to you to find out if this applies to you. 

Employees in England or Wales: If you awarded the type of ill health pension that is stopped after 3 years, or earlier if you are in gainful employment or you are, 18 months after leaving, deemed to be capable of such employment, your pension may be affected if you get a job and you must inform the employer who awarded you that pension if you take up any employment.
